Tanya joined eBay in 2012 to lead the core UK business. She brings with her a wealth of retail and omnichannel experience, having held senior positions at Sainsbury's (Director of Digital and Cross Channel), Argos (Group Commercial Director) and CapGemini (VP of Retail).
Throughout her career Tanya has had a personal interest in customer behaviour and how brands leverage technology. Tanya believes that customers and technology are converging more now than ever before and is delighted to be at the centre of an organisation leading the change.
Tanya has a particular focus on the strategy and growth of eBay's retail brand business - ensuring that the eBay experience continues to evolve and meet the demands of the modern shopper. She leads the buyer, marketing, merchant development and insight teams, continuing to shape and showcase eBay's unique position as a retail platform; providing retail partners and business seller partners with a great place to sell, and customers with a great place to shop. Over 100 well-known brands and retailers are using eBay as part of their omnichannel strategy, including some of the best-known retail players in the UK, including Argos, Office, Boots, House of Fraser and French Connection.
