This years BGT final is shaping up to be one of the best ever and after tonight our 2014 line up will be complete.
This time next week, Team Midas will have two acts, yes two acts in the grand final. So best of luck with rehearsals and preparations to Lucy Kay and Bars & Melody.
First up and looking for one of those last two places are La Voix and the London Gay Big Band. I loved it, awesome start to the show. Great staging, music and vocals. Get them over to Las Vegas.
Bailey McConnell sang one of his own tracks, which is usually a big risk. Not tonight. Brilliant vocal tone, thought provoking lyrics and a really likeable lad. I'd sign him to my agency tomorrow.
I won't bore you with my dislike for dance acts, (apart from Diversity & The Addictive Initiative) so Kings and Queens need to pull something big out of the bag. I agreed with my Simon, it wasn't as good as their first audition. The choreography was well executed and I can't fault their drive and passion but it wasn't for me. Sorry.
Meatloaf tribute act Peat Loaf & Elaine really confused me. These shows are about new talent not impersonators. Saying that they are very good at what they do and I hope this huge attention generates loafs, I mean loads of gigs for them.
Can Andrew Derbyshire bring the excitement back to tonight's show. Well, sort of. It wasn't world beating by any stretch but it wasn't the worst either.
What can I say about the unfunny, funny comedian/impressionist Jenson Zhu. Look I'm sure he is completely in on this, as in knowing it's bad. If that's the case, he is a genius. He could be the Tommy Cooper of the impression world. Good luck.
What I need right now is another dance act. Whose next...
Dance act Kieran Lai was amazing on his first audition as it was all about him. Tonight the production totally took away the attention from Kieran. There is immense potential here though and I hope this opens doors for him.
I'm glad Paddy & Nico were able to take their place on the stage after the injury scare but being brutally honest....I loved it. Ha ha fooled you. 24 hours ago because of injury, they were out of the competition. To come on that stage, not fully fit, not fully rehearsed and in pain takes courage and guts. Good luck Paddy & Nico.
The last semi-final performance of BGT 2014 goes to Jack Pack. Now this is right up my street. They already sing and look like an established act. There is a huge gap in the market for this band. Vocally perfect. 10/10 and act of the night.
Right, now it's over to you. Next up is the results.
The winner of tonight's public vote is Jack Pack.
The two facing the public vote were Paddy & Nico and Bailey McConnell with Paddy & Nico coming out on top.
See you next week for the final of Britain's Got Talent 2014
