What's important to you should be what makes you happiest. Working in your zone and your flow creates all the lovely positive thinking and thoughts that create a happy environment for you and all those around you.

This is a purposefully short post. This is because it's what's important to you - not me. It's an exercise that will require some thought of your part (sorry!).

Take some time and prioritise your list.

Now work out why each one is where it is - is this your 'happiness scale' or your 'duty scale'.

Take some time and create your Happiness scale. Is there a difference between that and the first one?

Why are you prioritising a sense of duty over your happiness? If you're unhappy you're not productive and what you want out of life won't come as easily.

Marry up your scales - prioritise and focus on your happiness.
