If serving Adele and Harry Styles wasn’t exciting enough for one lucky waiter, things got even better when it came to paying the bill.

The British stars were feeling particularly generous when they dined together at a restaurant in the Caribbean over the New Year, leaving their server a whopping $2020 (£1545) tip.

Adele and Harry have been holidaying together along with James Corden and his family on the Caribbean islands of Anguilla and the Virgin Islands.

After dining at the Caribbean Fishmarket on Saturday, Adele and Harry gifted their server and bartender the 400% tip.

A snap of the receipt was shared by the staff member’s friend on Instagram, which he captioned: “When Harry Styles and Adele give your friend a nice 2020 New Years tip.”

Over the weekend, pictures emerged of the Hello singer enjoying the beaches of the Caribbean.

Since filing for divorce from her husband Simon Konecki last year, the singer has embraced a new fitness regime, which includes private training sessions and Pilates.

Sharing a picture of her at Drake’s birthday party in October, Adele captioned the snap: “I used to cry but now I sweat.”

After announcing her separation from Simon last year, Adele admitted 2019 had “tried me so hard”.

Posting on Instagram after celebrating her 31st birthday, the singer said that she had “changed drastically in the last couple years”, joking she would be recording a drum and bass record to “spite” the difficult 12 months she’s had.

“This is 31… thank fucking god,” she wrote. “30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean in to it all.

“No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times.

“I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay.”

She continued: “31 is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once.

“Be kind to yourself people we’re only human, go slow, put your phone down and laugh out loud at every opportunity.

“Learning to REALLY truly love yourself is it, and I’ve only just realised that that is more than enough.

“I’ll learn to love you lot eventually. Bunch of fucking savages, 30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you. Chin up eh.”
