Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sell Out Fast After Fans Camp Overnight And Crash Websites

Absolute scenes.

Yeezy fever has descended on the world, as fans of the Kanye West Adidas trainer tried to get their hands on a pair of the new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in black.

With scenes reminiscent of the Next Boxing Day sale (remember them?), eager shoppers were spotted queueing outside stores and camping overnight as the anticipated trainers dropped on Friday.

Those smartly staying in bed hoping to bag a pair online were no better off, it seems, with Adidas and Footlocker websites reportedly crashing, unable to cope with the demand.

It is reported that some high street retailers will only sell one pair per customer, while JD Sports ran an online raffle with members to select who would be in for a chance of getting some. Fair’s fair, I guess.

The trainers – stocked through Adidas and select Yeezy retailers – are selling out fast, with online stocks already gone. Will we start to see them being sold for a tidy profit on social media and eBay? Only time will tell.

Here are some tweets from the rush that happened today.

Good luck to everyone who tried to get trainers today. If you were unsuccessful, you can still buy Yeezy 350 V2s in different colours, but they come with a hefty price tag. Farfetch has stock available in clay, white, and black-green, with some costing over £1000.
