Amanda Holden Proves Her Feud With Phillip Schofield Is Still Not Over With Cheeky Interview Dig

She took aim at the This Morning presenter during an appearance on Good Morning Britain alongside Heart radio co-host Jamie Theakston.

Amanda Holden has proved her feud with Phillip Schofield is still not over as she snuck in a cheeky remark seemingly aimed at him during an interview.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge appeared alongside her Heart Radio co-presenter Jamie Theakston on Good Morning Britain on Monday, where she made the quip.

Having worked with her on Britain’s Got Talent, GMB host Piers Morgan asked Jamie how he’d found working with Amanda, to which he replied: “She’s a dream, Piers. What else did you say, Amanda?”

Amanda laughed: “Manageable!”

This appeared to be a very thinly-veiled dig at Phillip, as he had reportedly branded her “difficult to manage” when they presented This Morning together during Holly Willoughby’s maternity leave in 2015.

While the pair appeared to get on well on screen, they were said to have fallen out after Holly took time off from This Morning to co-present I’m A Celebrity in 2018.

Reports suggested Amanda had been told she would be filling in for Holly, but the job ended up going to Rochelle Humes, with The Sun suggesting Phillip had pushed for this to happen.

After reports claimed Amanda had been left fuming over the matter, she revealed she’d tried to reach out to Phillip “months ago” by offering to meet up for a coffee. The outcome of that, she claimed, was that “he didn’t reply to my text”.

Phillip has not ever directly commented on his fall-out with Amanda, but did call claims he was “overbearing” and contributed to a “toxic” work environment “hurtful and wildly untrue”.

However, ITV did deny Phillip had been instrumental in Rochelle’s hiring, saying in a statement: “Presenter line-ups on This Morning change regularly. Final decisions are made by producers, not presenters.

“Phillip is a much-loved broadcaster and part of the ITV family. He’s a consummate professional and held in high regard at ITV.

“Amanda is also held in high regard as a judge on one of our biggest shows,” they added.
