'Big Brother': New Series To Pit Housemates Against Their Family Members?

'The game is changing' indeed!

‘Big Brother’ could be about to take sibling rivalry to a whole new level when the new series kicks off next month, following the suggestion that family members are going to be pitted against each other.

Rumours are already abound that the new series will feature not one but two ‘BB’ houses, with two rival groups battling it out.

According to the Daily Star, the two-house twist will see family members unwittingly competing against each other, without realising that their relative is living just feet away from them.

A source tells the newspaper: “The two houses will basically run like two different series, meaning fans will get twice the fun.

“The idea would be to have a daughter in one house and her mum in the other but not tell either of them. It would be a big stunt but producers are determined to make it the best series ever."

‘Bit On The Side’ presenter Rylan Clark-Neal has already dismissed claims that a group of minor celebs will be shacked up in one of the houses, instead insisting that a ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ series will run after the normal one as usual.

‘BB’ fans have already had a glimpse of this year’s eye, which is sporting a monochrome theme with multicoloured shard, as well as a new advert, which teased that “the game is changing”.

Bosses recently confirmed that the new series will kick off on Tuesday, 7 June at 9pm on Channel 5.
