Boy, 12, Found With Serious Injuries After Hit-And-Run In Wembley

Police are appealing for more information about a white Nissan SUV which failed to stop at the scene.

A 12-year-old boy has been hospitalised after being involved in a hit-and-run in Wembley on Friday.

Police were called to the scene of the collision in Grand Parade/Forty Avenue shortly after 4pm, where the boy was found with serious injuries.

He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a hospital in north London, where his condition was assessed to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

There have not yet been any arrests in connection with the incident, and the Met Police have release a public appeal for further information.

The car, which failed to stop after hitting the boy, has been described as a white Nissan SUV with a broken headlight. The registration number is unknown.

Anyone with information about the car, or anyone who witnesses the incident, should contact police on 101, quoting CAD 5308/13 September.
