'This kind of thing makes it all worthwhile.'

A boy with autism was moved to tears when he watched his favourite band Coldplay perform live for the first time.

The boy's father, Luis Vazquez, filmed his son's joyous reaction during the performance of 'Fix You' in Mexico City.

"Something my wife and I decided to share with the whole wide world," the dad wrote in a caption on YouTube.

"Let's keep looking to share these kind of things! #autismspeak."

The video was viewed 2.7 million times within seven days of being posted on 19 April.

The video also reached Coldplay, who retweeted the video with the words: "This kind of thing makes it all worthwhile."
