The full voting figures for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent have been revealed, following Colin Thackery’s win on Sunday night.
It’s been revealed that during this year’s live final, Colin received more than a quarter of all votes cast, particularly impressive when you consider there were 11 acts in the running.
The 89-year-old singer received 25.3% of the votes cast on Sunday night, while his closest competitor, magician X, received 17.8%.
It was a closer race for third place, with Ben Hart, Kojo Anim and Dave & Finn receiving 10.2%, 9.%6 and 9.1% of the final votes respectively.
Colin’s win gives him the highest percentage of votes to win since 2014, when vocal harmony group Collabro sailed to victory.
The stats also showed that in each of the semi-finals, the judges opted to save the act who had been the second most popular with voters.
