A two-car crash on Friday led to a war memorial in south east London being destroyed.
The Shortlands War Memorial in Beckenham was flattened after a Mini Cooper smashed into it about 10.20am.
The Evening Standard said the memorial was knocked off its plinth after two cars collided on Kingswood Road, at the junction with Church Road.
