EastEnders’ Albert Square is going to be looking pretty empty if the current exodus doesn’t come to an end soon, as Aunt Babe actress Annette Badland is now leaving the soap.
A number of actors have recently announced that they’ll be putting Walford behind them in the coming months, and a source has now revealed that Annette is joining them.
An ‘EastEnders’ insider has dished the dirt on what’s going on to The Sun, revealing that while Aunt Babe won’t be seen anymore, she’ll still manage to cause trouble.
They explain: “Prior to living in The Vic, Aunt Babe was seen coming and going from The Square with her own life away from Walford.
The list of stars who are leaving ‘EastEnders’ is getting pretty long, and among those departing are Riley Carter-Millington, Danny-Boy Hatchard and Ellen Thomas.
Mitchell sisters Ronnie and Roxy, played by Samantha Womack and Rita Simmons, are also heading off, and will make their exit as part of an “explosive storyline”.
