‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Jacqueline Jossa Returns As Lauren Branning

A lot has changed in the last 12 months.

‘EastEnders’ fans have been given their first look at Jacqueline Jossa's return to Albert Square.

Her character Lauren Branning is set to make her way back to Walford, when the truth about who killed Lucy Beale is revealed.

At present, Jacqueline’s on-screen dad Max Branning is in jail for murder, and when Lauren returns to the Square, her sister Abi is devastated to learn that she’s always known who the real killer is.

Jacqueline left the soap on maternity leave, and Lauren was written out with a storyline that saw her leave for New Zealand with Peter Beale.

Her return comes ahead of that of Jake Wood, who is due to resume filming later this year.

There’s been plenty of drama in Lauren’s absence and her return comes following Bobby Beale’s attack on Jane.

Jane’s life is currently hanging in the balance, and two other familiar faces are also returning, in the form of Jane’s brother and mum, Christian and Linda.

These ‘EastEnders’ scenes air on Monday 30 May. Catch up on all the latest soap news and spoilers here.
