‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Peggy Mitchell’s Funeral Set To Be a Tearjerker Following Barbara Windsor’s Last Episode

We're definitely not emotionally ready for this.

Her final ‘EastEnders’ episode may have only just finished, but the cast have already filmed Peggy Mitchell’s funeral scenes.

Cast members including Perry Fenwick and Rita Simons, who play Billy and Roxy Mitchell, have been spotted at filming the scenes at a church.

Bosses have promised that, following her emotional last episode, soap icon Peggy will be given a fitting send-off, and the snaps reveal that she will make her final journey to the church in a horse drawn hearse.

In last night’s (Tuesday 17 May) episode, Barbara Windsor’s character completed suicide, after saying a final farewell to Walford, and one familiar face who returned from beyond the grave(!) especially.
