‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Peggy Mitchell Takes An Emotional Trip Down Memory Lane With Son Phil

The emotional rollercoaster continues in Walford.

The Mitchell family have been left stunned by the news that Peggy Mitchell’s cancer is terminal in ‘EastEnders’, and none more so that her son Phil.

As he struggles to come to terms with the news, viewers will see him try to convince his mum to have life-prolonging treatment in tonight’s (Friday 13 May) episode.

Peggy and Phil have had more than their fair share of rows over the years, but they’re now putting the past behind them, and will take a boat trip on the Thames.

But while Phil is hoping to prove to Peggy that she should continue fighting, the former landlady has other ideas for how the day should go.

So far, Peggy’s arrival in Walford has delighted fans, and on Tuesday, we were all left reaching for the tissues when she discovered that her cancer is terminal.

Sadly, Barbara Windsor won’t be back in Albert Square for long, and the cast have already filmed Peggy’s funeral.
