There’s no question about it, this year’s Grammys saw the A-list nominees well and truly bringing it on the red carpet.

As well as leading the nominated artists, singer/songwriter Lizzo brought some serious glamour to the proceedings, while Pose actor Billy Porter brought yet another incredible look to his awards season back catalogue.

Our favourite look of the night, though, has to go to Ariana Grande.

Ariana hit the red carpet in a completely over-the-top enormous gown, complete with around 1000 layers, elbow-length gloves and, naturally, her signature high ponytail.

Just... wow.

It’s not exactly an understated look, but it’s quintessentially Ariana, and if you can’t give an all-out Disney princess, prom queen look at the Grammys, where can you?

Not only was it a show-stopping look, it also looked like Ariana was having a lot of fun in her elaborate ensemble, as she posed up a storm for photographers on her way into the event.

The chart-topping singer was nominated for five awards at this year’s Grammys, including in the coveted Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year categories.

Her appearance at the Grammys comes a year after she famously snubbed the awards show, following a much-publicised fall-out with one of the ceremony’s organisers, over her scheduled performance.

Although she didn’t actually turn up to the Grammys that year, the night somehow still managed to be all about Ariana, as she shared an Instagram snap of what she’d been planning to wear, and live-tweeted the whole event, including her first ever win.
