Trump is in Scotland to open his new golf course.

Widely disliked Republican presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump landed in Scotland this morning to open his new golf course, the Trump Turnberry.

His main political rival Hillary Clinton decided to take the opportunity to offer her condolences to the nation.

The video expressed sympathy for the UK's dislike of Trump, which became clear when a petition calling for him to be barred from entering the country was signed by over half a million people.

They also tapped into the mood among Scottish locals who have been "bullied" by Trump's employees over the building of his new golf course.

Quotes from senior political figures such as Nicola Sturgeon, David Cameron and Sadiq Khan also added to the anti-Trump sentiment in the short video, which was posted to Twitter on Thursday evening.

Trump will spend the weekend hopping between different golf courses across Scotland before heading back to the US.
