'I'm A Celebrity' 2016: Coleen Rooney Speaks Out On Rumours She's Heading Down Under

Reports said she'd landed a 'mega-deal' to take part in the show.

Coleen Rooney has addressed rumours she’s heading into the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ jungle later this year.

Last month, reports suggested that Coleen had landed a “mega-deal” to appear on the ITV show, having previously gushed that it was the one reality series she’d be interested in.

However, she’s now spoken out about the speculation, and we’re afraid it’s bad news for anyone who’d built their hopes up.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: I get asked all of the time, but I always say no. Reality shows like that are massive, they ask a lot of people to go in them, but I've never really wanted to.

“I'm a bit of a home bird - being away for quite a long time from the family would be hard.”

When asked how the rumours first came about, Coleen explained: “I was asked a while ago in an interview if I'd ever do any celebrity shows.

"It's not that I said I would do one, it was just which one I would chose if I had to. It would be 'I'm A Celebrity'. But I'd probably never do a show.”

While Coleen may be out, several other celebs have been tipped to star in the next series, when ‘I’m A Celebrity’ returns to our screens in the autumn.

‘Threads’ singer Sarah Harding has expressed interest in making an appearance, having previously taken part in ‘The Jump’ and ‘Tumble’, while former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ cast member Jessica Wright was also recently rumoured.
