Yes, it’s been just under a year since we saw Vicky Pattison face off against George Shelley and Ferne McCann in last year’s live final, which means a whole new batch of celebs are being poached by ITV bosses to head Down Under in preparation for succeeding the ‘Geordie Shore’ star as King or Queen of the Jungle (and it’s safe to say they’ll already be having nightmares about chowing down on kangaroo testicles, lying in rat-infested underground prisons and making small talk with Ant and Dec).
True, we’re still a few weeks away from the new series’ debut, meaning there’s still plenty of time for producers to put together this year’s line-up in full.
However, that hasn’t stopped speculation in the press about who’s going to be packing their mosquito spray and sporting those ever-fetching vests with their name and phone line number on them.
We’ve been following the rumours closely, and so far, we’ve the usual mix of reality stars, soap actors, footballers’ wives and models have all been mentioned, alongside a few more surprising faces from the world of sport, comedy and even politics.
