With the new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ just weeks away, rumours of who will be heading to the Australian jungle are heating up.
The latest star linked to the ITV show is ‘The Chase’ star Anne Hegerty.
According to The Mirror, Anne, AKA The Governess on ITV’s afternoon quiz show, is confirmed for this year’s series, but show bosses are remaining tight-lipped.
The newspaper is also reporting that ‘Coronation Street’ star Sair Khan and football legend Harry Redknapp are also confirmed for the 2018 series.
Other stars rumoured to be taking part include ‘Good Morning Britain’ host Kate Garraway former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional Brendan Cole, ‘Coronation Street’ star Catherine Tyldesley, ‘Holby City’ actor Rosie Marcel and Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing.
The 33-year-old made the revelation during an interview with HuffPost UK on ‘BUILD’, admitting that she’d relish the chance to take part in the dreaded Bushtucker eating trials, which sees celebrity contestants chowing down on such delights as kangaroo testicles and pig’s vagina.
“That’s the bit I’d love to do,” she said. “I’m scared to fly out of a plane and stuff, but my goodness give me a jug of blitzed up balls. No problem, I’ll have ’em!”
Ant announced he would be taking an extended break from all of his TV commitments last month so he could focus on his recovery following his arrest for drink driving.
Holly admitted replacing the star was a “tricky situation” and that it would be “weird” for Dec to be joined by a new co-host after 16 years fronting the ITV show with Ant.
The ‘This Morning’ host told Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine: “It’s a tricky situation in many ways. Ant was part of the discussion from the off.
“He’s happy that I’m looking after it until he gets back. It does help that we all know each other. I think I’m A Celeb will be more weird for Dec than for me. He’s only ever worked with Ant.”
