With less than three months to go until the new James Bond film hits cinemas in the UK, there’s still one crucial component left to be revealed.

We already know, of course, that Daniel Craig will be playing 007 for the final time, and we know that Oscar-winning star Rami Malek will be playing 007′s new adversary, but it remains to be seen who’ll be singing the film’s Bond theme.

However, after a seemingly-innocent photo taken at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, Beyoncé fans think they might have figured it out.

After the awards show – where she’d been nominated for her contribution to the Lion King soundtrack – Beyoncé shared a posted standard photo of herself leaning in to sip a Martini, and it didn’t take long before the Beyhive swarmed into action.

Fans immediately began drawing comparisons between the photo and one the famously-private singer had shared of herself holding a lemon, shortly before her Lemonade album was announced.

As fans began debating the significance of the Martini, many then agreed it looked like she was hinting that she’d be recording the song for the new James Bond film, No Time To Die...

Beyoncé was previously rumoured to be in talks to record the Bond theme as far back as 2017, though her rep told Billboard at the time this was just “a rumour”.

The last two James Bond films have featured musical contributions from Adele and Sam Smith, both of whom won Academy Awards for their musical efforts.

Beyoncé is currently at the centre of Oscars buzz of her own, with her song Spirit being heavily tipped to be among this year’s nominees when they’re announced next week.

Other songs expected to be in the frame include Into The Unknown from the Frozen II soundtrack and a new Elton John track featured in the biopic Rocketman, which won a Golden Globe on Sunday.

It had been suggested that Taylor Swift’s new addition to the Cats soundtrack, Beautiful Ghosts, might also be in the running, but reports recently suggested that Universal had cancelled plans for the film to be considered at the upcoming Oscars.

HuffPost UK has contacted Beyoncé’s representatives for comment.
