Just call her Mystic Mandy.

Amanda ‘Mystic Mandy’ Holden has revealed she correctly predicted Katy Perry’s baby name during an interview earlier in the summer – and if you don’t believe her, she’s got the video to prove it.

Back in June, the Britain’s Got Talent judge interviewed Katy on the Heart breakfast show, during which they discussed potential baby names.

While co-presenter Jamie Theakston offered up a string of deliberately mundane names for the chart-topping star to name her baby, Amanda unknowingly guessed exactly right.

“I like Daisy Bloom,” Amanda said. “Because I think the surname of Bloom and daisies and flowers [goes together].”

Sharing footage of the interview on her Instagram following the news that Katy has, indeed, named her daughter Daisy, Mandy wrote: “I love @katyperry’s face when I correctly predict her baby’s name back in June.”

And as you can see, this does look an awful lot like the face of a woman who’s been rumbled…

Katy announced on Thursday morning that she and Orlando Bloom had welcomed their first child, a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom.

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” the couple said in statement, alongside a black and white picture of them holding Daisy’s tiny hand, with Katy’s nail decorated with the image of a daisy.

The couple also used the moment to raise awareness of causes related to pregnancy and childbirth around the world that have been made worse by the coronavirus crisis.

Orlando – who has been engaged to Katy since 2019 – is also the father to a nine-year-old son, Flynn, whose mother is the Australian model Miranda Kerr.
