Lea Michele has been accused of making her Glee co-star Samantha Ware’s life on the show “a living hell”.

Samantha made further claims against her fellow actor, who played Rachel Berry in the musical TV series, in response to a tweet Lea had posted about the death of George Floyd with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter.

“George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter,” Lea tweeted on Saturday.

Two days later, Samantha quoted the tweet, accusing Lea of “traumatic microaggressions” that made her “question a career in Hollywood”.

Other Glee cast members, including Alex Newell, Amber Riley and Dabier Snell, reacted to the accusations on Twitter...

Samantha had a recurring role as Jane Hayward in the sixth season of Glee in 2015, appearing in 11 episodes. The Fox series was her first TV role, before going on to appear in What/If, Chicago Med and God Friended Me.

Lea was one of the main cast members throughout all six seasons of the Ryan Murphy smash. She has yet to respond to the accusations.

HuffPost UK has contacted Lea Michele’s reps for comment.
