Some of London's most iconic landmarks were emblazoned with the national colours of Belgium on Wednesday, a tribute to those who lost their lives in the Brussels attacks on Tuesday.
Tower Bridge stretching across the River Thames, the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square and Wembley Stadium, home to the England national football team, carried the colours under orders from Mayor Boris Johnson. The National Theatre and the London Eye, both on the Southbank, will also be lit up.
