'Loose Women' To Recruit 'Big Brother' Housemate Laura Carter As Panellist?

We definitely didn't see that coming.

Some rather surprising ‘Loose Women’ news now, with reports suggesting that recent ‘Big Brother’ housemate Laura Carter could be about to land herself a spot on the panel.

‘BB’ fans will remember Laura from the most recent series of the Channel 5 reality show, when she and Marco Pierre White Jr made headlines for their shocking antics in their first week in the house.

It has now been suggested that ‘Loose Women’ could be about to capitalise on Laura’s reality TV appearance, as they did with recent new recruits Nadiya Hussain and Vicky Pattison.

A source (good old sources, eh?) told the Daily Star: During her stint on BB Laura’s feisty nature caught the eye of the Loose Women producers. She wasn’t short of opinions or afraid to speak her mind.

“The plan is to phase her in like with Vicky Pattison, but who knows? If things take off then she could become a permanent panellist.”

Following Sherrie Hewson’s announcement that she’s stepping down from the show, the insider added that there “is a job going”.

Meanwhile, a second source (because a story of this magnitude needs as many sources as possible, naturally) revealed that Laura has already had meetings with show bosses, continuing: “Laura came in and met with the team. Things went really well.

“Laura is determined to stick up for women’s rights and told show bosses the fact she had made mistakes in the past only helps her case.”

The ‘BB’ graduate has already proved herself to be outspoken since her eviction, calling out double standards towards women and sex when she felt that she was given unfair stick for her and Marco’s sexual trysts in the house.
