For the past 24 hours, Love Island has been all about the exits, with at least three people leaving the villa.

In Monday night’s episode, the contestants found out viewers had been voting to save their favourite couples, with the bottom three being put at risk of elimination.

It was then revealed that Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane were the least popular and would be leaving the island immediately – but the action didn’t stop there.

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, as the Islanders were told that the remaining safe couples would have to choose another pair to send packing, out of either Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard, and Lucie Donlan and George Rains.

Their choice will be revealed in tonight’s show, but viewers think that Love Island headlines from earlier on Monday are a big clue about what happens.

Just hours before the episode aired, it was revealed that Amy had walked out of the programme – which she wouldn’t have been able to do had she and Curtis been voted off.

This, fans think, suggests Lucie and George were given their marching orders, with Amy leaving on her own afterwards.

There is another possibility, though, as Amy could have left after Danny and Jourdan, sparing the others from choosing a couple to boot out.

While the exits are the biggest news to come out of the villa, it hasn’t all been doom and gloom as Mollie-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have delighted viewers with their decision to make their relationship official.

Boxer Tommy popped the question (the boyfriend-girlfriend one, it wasn’t a full proposal) with the help of Ellie Belly, and a delighted Mollie soon agreed to take things to the next level.

Watch Love Island at 9pm on ITV2.
