Liam Payne Snaps After Fan's Tweet About His One Direction Reunion Comments

"I get asked this ridiculous question 500x a day."

It looks like Liam Payne is officially done answering questions about One Direction, following an angry post on his Twitter page.

Liam first rose to global fame as a member of the chart-topping boyband One Direction, who went their separate ways in 2016, to pursue projects outside of the group.

Since then, there’s been a lot of speculation about if and when the band will get back together, though it seems the subject is becoming a little tiresome for Liam.

After one fan complained that he repeatedly gave different answers about a potential 1D reunion, Liam hit back on Twitter: “Can people stop passing blame to me about this I get asked this ridiculous question 500x a day (exaggeration)... so I just say whatever guess I have at the time.”

He added: “But still this band has 3 other members you want the answer ask them.”

Since One Direction went on their indefinite hiatus, Liam has enjoyed chart success with tracks like Strip That Down and the Rita Ora collaboration For You, and has been nominated for a total of three solo Brit Awards.

He’s also never been far away from the tabloid headlines, thanks to his former relationship with Cheryl Tweedy, with whom he has a son, Bear, as well as his more recent rumoured romance with supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Meanwhile, the rest of One Direction have also been pursuing solo careers, with Harry Styles and Niall Horan reaching number one and three respectively in the UK charts with their debut albums.

Zayn Malik released his second solo album towards the end of last year, while Louis Tomlinson has recently teased that he has a new single on the way, inspired by the loss of his mother.
