Tired Of People Misspelling Your Name? This Destiny's Child-Inspired Email Response Is For You

*Plays ‘Say My Name’ on repeat*

How many times have you read an email meant to be addressed to you but has, for some unknown reason, used someone else’s name?

Despite the correct option being right there in the email subject box (seriously you don’t even need to move your eyes to see it guys) some people seem incapable of getting the spelling right.

Now one woman, fed up of not being correctly called Calli, has devised the perfect tune for everyone to get to grips with their colleague’s names.

*to the tune of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name"*

SPELL MY NAME, SPELL MY NAME
IT'S RIGHT THERE IN THE EMAIL
IT'S NOT A HIDDEN DETAIL
THE SPELLING DOESN'T CHANGE

The legal attorney from the USA wasn’t the only one fed up of being overlooked in the naming department, and other people have shared their own examples.

I had somebody reply to a LinkedIn message (months after I messaged him) with “Hi Samantha” and then reply again a few months later asking for a favor and I was like NOPE

As a Franny, auto-correct is really unforgiving. Have gotten lots of emails addressed to Fanny & Granny 🤦🏼♀️

I had a boss once who not only constantly misspelled my name but had her misspelling ENGRAVED on an employee appreciation gift. Like... you've got to have 40 emails from me in your inbox. Plus I mean... my tax information?

Genuinely had a teacher at infants school who was convinced this was the case. I'd get marked down for spelling my own name correctly. Fabulous.

I had dated my boyfriend for literal YEARS and his parents still spelled my name Sarah in cards and on gifts. He finally had to blow up at them for it to stop.

It’s Sarah WITH AN H!

Seriously, are they just trolling us?

It makes me wonder if they think *I've* spelt my *own* name wrong....
