He wants his mother-effin' job back!

Samuel L Jackson reveals a bold plan on tonight’s (Friday 6 May) ‘Graham Norton Show’, explaining that he’d love to return to the ‘Star Wars’ universe.

The Hollywood veteran played Jedi Master Mace Windu in the controversial prequel films, and when he heard about the new movies he was desperate to nab a part.

“I was waiting for the call,” he explains to Graham, in an interview that will air on Friday. “I had a conversation with Mark Hammil about it when they were auditioning people for Jedis and I said we should go over to the studio and see if we could get in the movie.

"He didn’t even know there was a movie and then he ends up in it!”

Samuel isn’t one to give up though, and he adds: “But who knows, there’s like thirty more movies coming – I’ll find my way back in somewhere!”

One of the many upcoming films is another prequel of sorts, featuring Alden Ehrenreich as young Han Solo.

Before that though, Felicity Jones will take the lead in ‘Rogue One’, which is slated to arrive in cinemas later this year.
