A tattoo artist is blowing the minds of Instagram fans with his hyper-realistic designs.

Steve Butcher, from New Zealand, creates tattoos so detailed that at a glance they look as clear as photos, or incredible watercolour paintings.

His incredible inkings have gained Butcher over 315,000 Instagram followers, who can’t stop staring at his works - which are often based on sporting heroes and wildlife.
