‘Stranger Things' Season 2: Netflix’s Official Announcement Sends TV Fans Into A Frenzy

It. Is. Happening.

There’s no denying that ‘Stranger Things’ is the television show to watch in 2016, and after much speculation, Netflix has confirmed that a second series will arrive next year.

The streaming service-turned-original content pros have also released a cryptic trailer - which you can watch above - for the episodes, and it has understandably sent fans into a frenzy.

So what’s the video all about? That’s the question fans have been asking on Twitter…

Hurrah. Love how we seem to have episode titles already. :) https://t.co/WyZNpnTLfW

#StrangerThings reminded me that, yes, I do still like TV. So I'm happy S2 is on and Winona will be in my life for more years to come.

My theory for season 2 of stranger things: the boys are gonna go to the upside down to look for eleven

Following Netflix’s announcement that nine more episodes will be made, the fans who think the words displayed in the trailer are their titles could well be onto something.

With its 1980s setting and plentiful pop culture references, ‘Stranger Things’ became the most-talked about show on TV (well, on the internet) when it was released last month.

Viewers and critics alike have praised the drama, which brought Winona Ryder back into our lives, but it’s fair to say that a number of breakout stars also stole the show.
