If there were any hard feelings from Taylor Swift about missing out on an Album Of The Year nomination at the upcoming Grammys, she did a very good job at hiding them as she took to Instagram on Wednesday evening.

Taylor already has an impressive 10 Grammys to her name, with three nominations ahead of next year’s ceremony, following the release of her seventh album, Lover.

However, after the latest round of nominees were announced, many fans couldn’t help but point out that Lover was noticeably absent from the awards show’s two biggest categories, Record Of The Year and Album Of The Year.

Reacting to the news on her Instagram, though, Taylor chose to focus on the positive, sharing her excitement at her new music landing her three nominations in next year’s ceremony.

“LOVER IS NOMINATED FOR SONG OF THE YEAR AT THE GRAMMYS!” she enthused. “Wrote this one alone in a quiet moment and seeing it honoured in the Song Of The Year category by my peers means so much wow.”

“3 noms guys!!!!” she added.

As well as a Song Of The Year nomination for the title track from Lover, the album itself is also up for Best Pop Vocal Album, while single You Need To Calm Down has been recognised in the Best Pop Solo Performance category.

Taylor has previously won Album Of The Year on two separate occasions, first in 2010 for Fearless and subsequently in 2016 for 1989.

New artists have dominated the nominations for next year’s Grammys, with Lizzo receiving eight in total, while Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X are each on six.

The 2020 Grammys will take place on Sunday 26 January, and will once again be hosted by Alicia Keys.
