The Chase’s Mark Labbett has branded Piers Morgan a “snowflake” following his poor performance in a special episode of the ITV game show.

Mark was serving as the Chaser when Piers and his Good Morning Britain co-hosts appeared on a recent charity special, in which he didn’t do all too well.

Discussing how things went down for Piers when he appeared as a contestant, Mark – known as The Beast on the quiz show – said on Monday’s Good Morning Britain: “Well Susanna managed it well enough. Susanna got seven [questions right] and you got three.”

He continued: “I’m heartbroken you’ve moulded yourself as the epitome of English manliness for years, who deals with princes and presidents.

“Then you absolutely cracked like the snowflake you are.”

Piers, of course, was unimpressed with the jibe, pointing out: “I would never have used the phrase ‘English manliness’ because I’m Irish so that is another factual error I’m afraid.”

Still, nothing on that “snowflake” dig, we notice.

Last week, Piers returned to Good Morning Britain after taking two weeks off, and it was well and truly business as usual from the get-go.

On his first day back, he somehow managed to sneak in a number of digs at Chrissy Teigen, after it was revealed her husband John Legend had recorded a new version of Baby, It’s Cold Outside with lyrics that removed some of the song’s more creepy undertones.

Following this, he also laid into Harry Potter star Emma Watson after she revealed she considers herself “self-partnered” rather than single.

He then went on to celebrate not being investigated by Ofcom, despite almost 1,000 complaints to the media watchdog over the way Piers has discussed gender during a GMB debate.

Good Morning Britain airs every weekday from 6am on ITV.
