Two men involved in a road rage incident in Paarl, Western Cape, performed a bizarre reconciliation ritual by washing each other's feet and then praying together, Times Live reported.

"It's the most powerful way to show others there are no strings attached when forgiving someone."Egan Vorster

Marius Geldenhuys accused Egan Vorster of not following the correct road procedures while driving down a busy road in Paarl. In the altercation, Geldenhuys can be heard shouting: "Ek sal jou f****n dood bliksem‚ jy ry soos n p**s!" Loosely translated‚ the threat was: "I will f****n beat you to death, you drive like a c*nt!"

Then the most bizarre thing happened.

Someone who attended church with Geldenhuys came across the video and decided to get them together and sort things out.

The two men embraced and then washed each other's feet as a symbol of reconciliation.

"It's the most powerful way to show others there are no strings attached when forgiving someone", said Vorster.
