Ed Balls received a dancing lesson from Vince Cable on the BBC’s Daily Politics programme today. Because there aren’t enough dancing politicians in life.
The former Labour shadow chancellor is taking part in Strictly Come Dancing and as a result has barely been off the television in the last week. However Cable, the former Lib Dem business secretary, did not seem overly impressed with his technique.

Cable gave Balls and Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn a quick lesson on live TV. “Turn your hand a little bit out,” the Lib Dem told his former Commons rival. “More angled.”
Balls, standing in position, told Cobrurn to “get yourself in”. Unfortunately the pair did not dance around the studio.
