Fed up with packed bars and messy house parties? You can have a New Year’s Eve fit for a Queen this year by heading to Belvoir Castle.

The stunning Leicestershire castle is available on Airbnb and for the first time ever, guests are invited to book the exclusive King’s Suite, which was originally purpose-built for visiting royalty.

These day though, the castle is more frequently used as a filming location (and stand-in for Windsor Castle) for the hit Netflix series The Crown. You may also recognise it from the film The Young Victoria.

Through Airbnb, three pairs of guests can book a one-night stay in the grand suite on one of three available dates: 31st December, 11th January and 25th January.

As guests of the Duchess of Rutland and her family, you’ll get to live like royalty in the three room suite, which is adorned with opulent, regal interiors from floor to ceiling.

The royal experience will begin on the afternoon of arrival, when the guests will enjoy an afternoon tea within the very grounds where the tradition is said to have originated back in the 1840s. This will be followed by dinner served in the State Dining Room and later in the evening, you’ll enjoy a drinks reception in The Library.
