A lot has happened already this month, if I also include the release of AAA shooter Battlefield 3 into the mix, however the Twitter trending Grand Theft Auto 5 announcement and trailer seems to be garnering the most stares.

But with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 deploying 8 November, the impending battle of FPS is soon to begin, both hoping to not only to win your money but your time with the amount of games played going to be something both companies are hoping to be able to brag about.

Not to mention the release of PS3 exclusive Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception having it's worldwide release Uncharted has become a series which needs no introduction being a major weapon in the Playstation arsenal.

Time with the game has shown me the quality of 2009 Game Of The Year winner Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3 is not as ground breaking as its predecessors' but with a game like Uncharted 2 it is not major surprise or negative point, offering amazing set pieces a robust multiplayer including a often neglected option to have split screen multiplayer gives this game a chance to follow in Uncharted 2's footsteps and is a contender for Game Of The Year.

You could be fooled in thinking that would be all the gaming goodness November would have in-store, but with the great return of Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic Generations out November 4th, the social life ending Elder Scrolls Skryim with it's open world, dragon slaying epic providing hundred upon hundred of hours to cut your way through arriving November 11th, the fun and frantic sandbox title Saints Row the Third hitting store shelves November 18th and the Wii exclusive Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword coming to Nintendo's system November 24th.

November is shaping up to be a crucial month for gaming with many options for all types of gamers no doubt meaning Christmas deals will be a plenty and can expect many games to be under trees next month.

Which game(s) are you looking forward to and (if wallet allows) hoping to pick up?
