Friday being Food Revolution Day, Food Tube has been celebrating simplicity - whether that's easy-peasy recipes you can cook with the kids or low-cost, fuss-free, great tasting grub.
This week we welcomed 'A Girl Called Jack' (Monroe) to the Food Tube family. Jack made her name as a cash-strapped single mum living in Southend. With her immense resourcefulness, she tightened her apron strings and threw flour in the face of adversity. Check out her Food Tube debut - a delicious rhubarb and ginger soda bread:
Wowzas - we've been overrun by mini versions of your favourite FoodTubers. Even DJ BBQ's gon' rustled up a gorgeous 'garden glut soup' with his brood:
And Jamie's back with the loveable Grover, from Sesame Street, to show how even the littlest monsters can learn healthy new tricks!
...It's not been all about the children! For us big kids, Jamie delivered some inspirational quotes on our Drinks Tube channel. We'll let him explain why "everything is better in life with a little spanked mint"!
But we saved the best 'til last! Have your graters at the ready and spatulas in hand... as Jamie will be hosting a LIVE COOKING LESSON on Food Tube at 2pm (BST) this Friday 16th May for the almighty Food Revolution Day 2014. Join our Food Tube family and the rest of the world and let's get one million people cooking good food from scratch!
