A Candy Pink Announcement for Breast Cancer Awareness

If you're reading this blog post, you're probably fully aware of the existence of breast cancer, but when was the last time you checked your breasts?

Giant boobie flash mobs, naked celebrity breasts being fondled by celebrity husband hands, bright pink ribbons, boob cupcakes and a sea of pink, pink, pink... If you haven't noticed, it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the campaign has never been more 'in your face'.

If you're reading this blog post, you're probably fully aware of the existence of breast cancer, but when was the last time you checked your breasts? It only takes a minute and can be done by you or your partner, pretty much anywhere. (Though I accept no responsibility if you get arrested for getting them out in public...)

If you notice anything unusual whatsoever, get it checked out straight away. If I had ignored the lump in my breast earlier this year, I could have ended up losing a lot more than just my hair. Click here for a list of breast cancer symptoms.

With October drawing to a close, I wanted to do my little bit for the campaign, so here's a video message from me and my post-hair-loss alter ego, Candy Pink. Please forward it to friends and family, share it on Facebook and Twitter and spread the word before Breast Cancer Awareness Month ends! Whatever you do, don't ignore this message. Thank you.
