The Deep Route of 'Dis' - 'Ease'

After doing a powerful process called The Path of Love I realised I had a lot of anger from past hurt and experiences in my life. I started looking into what that effect this had on my health and came across a lot of research and evidence to suggest that repressed anger, hate and resentment is the leading root emotion causing the development of cancer.

I was shocked, to say the least, at my findings. But the more I read the more it made sense. The word disease when broken up means that there is a 'DIS' 'EASE' within the body. But anything can cause this from lack of nutrition to grief in all forms.

Laura Bond author of "Mum's Not Having Chemo" says 'At some point, all of us are faced with the unparalleled agony of losing a loved one. But not all of us will fall ill. Ultimately my research suggested that what makes grief carcinogenic is an inability to let go, to surrender and make peace with what happened.'

Trapped or repressed negative feelings, such as anger, increase a person's level of the stress hormone cortisol - a hormone which has been found in many studies around the world to directly suppress immune system functioning. When the immune system is not functioning properly, normal cells within the body can mutate into cancer cells, due to the depletion of important adrenaline reserves which break the cell's oxygen Krebs Cycle.

Laura Bond who has interviewed over 60 experts around the world was surprised at how often the link between cancer and unresolved emotions came up. 'Holding back tears of frustration hurt or anger can be toxic, according to one expert I interviewed, and in one recently published study, 50 per cent of breast cancer patients had suffered a major traumatic event - such as bereavement - within the previous five years.'

On a personal level I know that after I did this 7 day transformational process all aspects of my life started to improve including my health. Very early on in the course I could see that much of the hurt, the pain and the agony I had gone through since childhood had been pushed down and was residing in me as anger.

I soon realized that anger needed to be acknowledged and come out. So no matter how 'healthy' I was being on one level through nutrition and life-style, my mind and body on another level were screaming out to let go of a lot of crap that I had been holding on to for a long long time.
