Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Alexander Minnis said he expects the number of victims of Hurricane Dorian to rise from seven as rescue and recovery efforts continue. The hurricane has destroyed or severely damaged around 13,000 homes, leaving many people homeless. Hurricane Dorian is expected to come very close to the Florida coast, where more than a million people have been ordered to evacuate.
The family were believed to be on their way to Italy when the plane they were travelling in crashed in the Swiss Alps.
US-based nuclear experts suspect the explosion in the White Sea occurred during the testing of a nuclear-powered cruise missile.

Boeing executives apologised to the families of those who died when 737 Max crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia. The company said it was working hard to learn from what went wrong but didn't say when the plane could fly again. A total of 346 people were killed in both crashes.

At least eight people have died after a boat carrying South Korean tourists overturned on the Danube River in Budapest, Hungary. There were 30 South Koreans and three tour guides on, in addition to a crew of two Hungarians when the boat sank. A massive search and rescue operation has been launched and an investigation into the incident is being carried out.
The river boat was carrying 33 South Korean passengers and 2 Hungarian crew members when it collided with another vessel on Wednesday night.
