After eight weeks of jiving and quickstepping, we have our Strictly Come Dancing finalists. One celeb and their professional will take home that Glitterball trophy very soon. In the semi-finals this weekend, Maisie and Gorka achieved a perfect 30 and Bill and Oti Tangoed to Metallica’s Enter Sandman, much to Shirley Ballas’ delight.
With the final in touching distance, the competition heated up this weekend, with the Musicals. HRVY who was top of the pile once again, Bill Bailey transformed into the Phantom Of The Opera. The curtain sadly came down on JJ Chalmers though, as he became the sixth celebrity to leave the ballroom.
This week saw Clara Amfo leave the dancefloor for the final time, as the fan favourite was voted out over Jamie Laing. Meanwhile HRVY's dance broke records and Maisie Smith put in a star performance after two weeks in the dance off.
They couldn’t go to Blackpool for obvious reasons, but the couples still brought the heat to Borehamwood. It was an all-shimmying, all-swooning and indeed…. all-licking spectacular from Caroline and Johannes, but it wasn’t enough to save them.
