Eldhús' Mystical Dinner Under A Glacier

It's Thursday 8th March and day 2 of Eldhús' culinary road trip of Iceland. Today's location is at the beautiful Snaefellsjökull or more precisely on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, in Western Iceland, under the roots of Snaefellsjökull. Today's guests were two English couples who had their lamb dish cooked for them by local celebrity chef Hrefna Saetran. She cooked them a delicious meal of lamb chops with duck and potato confit with greens and lamb sauce, yummy!

With the beautiful backdrop of the snowy mountains on one side and the unruly sea on the other, the wind battered the outside of our house, but inside the guests enjoyed their delicious lamb meals.
