Now thanks to Al Green and Mick Jagger we all know Barack Obama can sing, but so far his taste in music has been limited to soul and blues.

So when we heard he'd be covering Canadian Idol popster Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe, we thought something had to be a bit squiffy - and so it proved, with the truth emerging that he hadn't 'sung' it at all, but YouTuber baracksdubs had assembled the 'song' from hours (if not days) of interview and press conference footage of the big man.
