Mr Bryan Mayou is the founder of Cadogan Cosmetics as well as the Clinic’s senior plastic surgeon.
With over 40 years’ experience at the cutting edge of the discipline, Mr Mayou is best known for his pioneering work in liposuction – transforming its use for weight loss purposes, having previously only been used for reconstructive surgeries. Mr Mayou remains the most experienced surgeon of his kind in the UK.
He initially trained as a general surgeon, after which he began a five year training in Plastic Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street and in both the United States and France. He has a broad training and experience in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He is also renowned as a leading specialist for a range of other procedures including face lifts, breast surgery and fat transfer techniques.
Mr Mayou is an active member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He founded and developed the Plastic Surgery and Laser Unit at the Lister Hospital.
