Caroline Fletcher

Freelance writer, parent, former teacher

I am a Sheffield based freelance writer who has written a variety of material for a number of publications such as: children's stories for BBC's 'Girl Talk' magazine, religious writing for Redemptorist Press and local issues for The Sheffield Telegraph.

I have taught at both secondary and primary schools as well as having been an open learning tutor for adults.

I'm a keen walker and have a blog about the fantastic walks in the Sheffield area- yes, Sheffield is beautiful! If you don't believe me, take a look at my blog

My faith is important to me. I studied theology to a postgraduate level and am an active member of my local church where I currently run a youth group and am involved in preparing church services to interest all ages. I also have a blog on which I post plays that I have written. These are suitable for churches to use in their youth work and services and are free to download, so if you are looking for Christian resources take a look

I also have a Facebook page with links to topical articles I have written including ones on the changes to student funding and the controversial tree-felling taking place in Sheffield.
