Gary Gowers

Gary spent 27 years working in local authority finance before taking a change in direction and moving into the freelance world of writing and editing. An accountant by trade, when the opportunity arose he decided to follow a long held dream of writing for a living and waved goodbye to the comfort and conformity of local government.

Situated on the east coast he cites sport and politics (local and national) as his main areas of interest and is a avid fan of Norwich City FC. He is editor and columnist for norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com, an independent, commercial website that covers all things Norwich City and is owned and edited by respected football writer, Rick Waghorn. He also writes for the Metro.
