Professor Leon Terry

Director of Environment and Agrifood, Cranfield University

Prof Terry leads the research and teaching activity in Environment and Agrifood at Cranfield University with 80 staff, 60 PhDs and 120 MSc students. He is also head of the Plant Science Laboratory at Cranfield which is one of the largest and best equipped postharvest research groups in Europe. Prof Terry has consistently secured funding as PI from BBSRC, EPSRC, Innovate UK, and Defra and also has developed a mature yet growing revenue stream with repeat high value custom from key industrial clients viz.
