Lord Prescott has given one of the most entertaining interviews of recent times on Good Morning Britain, swearing three times as he fended off questions about the Labour Conference, strikes and Brexit.

Hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were reduced to hysterics multiple times during the fiery 15 minute encounter.

But it wasn’t all chummy - Lord Prescott swore repeatedly, jabbed his finger in anger and even brought up the touchy subject of phone tapping

Meanwhile over at Labour’s annual part conference, divisions over Europe erupted after delegates agreed not to push the issue of Brexit to a vote.

The decision meant Jeremy Corbyn avoided a divisive clash over Labour’s Brexit policy on the conference floor at the gathering in Brighton, reports the Press Association

But anger boiled over among pro-EU MPs, with one branding the decision “f***ing ridiculous” while a member of Corbyn’s frontbench team said the decision was “strange”.
