I'm not ashamed to say it, I do share some of the Ukipper concerns. I think we should probably leave the EU, toughen up our borders a bit and accept that religious people have legitimate concerns when it comes to gay marriage. But that doesn't make me want to vote Ukip. Why?
Like many lost second generation immigrants in Europe who have gone before him, Abedolajo--who was first alienated, addicted to drugs and confused about foreign policy--appears to have found a short-term psychological fix to his derailed life and its accompanying psychic pain in the militant jihadi ideology.
Individuals have, and will continue to, invoke the word of God to justify the most horrendous crimes possible; but if someone is hell bent on destruction then they'll use any means necessary to give it credence.
Finally! A politician who speaks my language! Who understands my needs! Finally, if all goes to plan, next summer I can marry my mum! Thank you, Lord Tebbit. People said - 'you're gay? I presume you'll be wed to your mother then?' To which I replied, 'you betcha! After all, lesbianism is just another word for tax-avoiding incest, isn't it?!'
There can no longer be any doubt, this Bill wrecks marriage. Labour's amendment, scrawled on a dog-eared scrap of paper and hastily tabled in the Commons at the eleventh hour. The Bill to wreck marriage has social liberals giddy with delight.
When Anders Breivik, self-styled member of an 'international Christian military order', massacred 77 innocent Norwegians, most them children, in July 2011, did we indict Christianity? Sadly, we hold Islam and Muslims to a separate standard...
What has happened in Woolwich is unbelievable. A British soldier brutally murdered in broad daylight. The attackers then calmly stand and wait for the police before apparently getting what they so desperately long for-martyrdom.
What is sad, and a tad frightening, are the undeniable gains that Ukip has recently made in membership and in elections. Despite the party's claims to want to protect Britain, what Ukip represents is not the deeply ingrained British values of liberty and equality, but actually, everything opposite to that.
Recent events reveal we can't complacently leave the NHS in the hands of the bureaucrats and the politicians. Our experience is they have created a culture of fear and bullying whereby good clinicians are persecuted for standing up for patients or medical science.
The former MP for Chingford did not always feel this way. When Latifah signed with Tommy Boy Records in 1989, he was initially impressed. During a late lunch at Chequers, he was overheard to remark of Latifah's debut album All Hail the Queen: "That bitch is legit. Her flows are off the hook. Word is bond."
#thingsworsethanrape. That's right you read it correctly. This is not the kind of thing that victims of rape should have to deal with and read. It is the kind of thing that so many members of society should be protected from, because even if it doesn't directly affect you it may affect somebody you know.
Dead-set on proving to their constituents that Ukip are actually fluffy toys when it comes to Europe, Despite Cameron's commitment to a referendum in the next Parliament, Ukip would die. Excuse my Belgian-French, but this is crap.
I'm seeing the problem now; I know people who are struggling; I'm seeing what happens when there isn't enough money and there isn't enough health. I'm seeing the despair... People have ended their lives. People are going without food and medicine. People are becoming homeless. And this is because of the changes this government is making.
Learning and accountability is firmly on the NGO agenda nowadays and for Action Against Hunger, it is something we take very seriously. We dedicate a lot of energy into evaluating our programmes, learning from them and, fundamentally, holding ourselves to account for them.
The detrimental effect of age-progressed images is most probably partly a psychological effect: The addition of an age-progressed image somehow changes observers' decision-making strategies, and does so in a profoundly unhelpful way.
The government is backing or high growth potential technology sector, giving them the best chance to succeed on a global scale. Missions such as the ones launched today will play a vital part in making sure that we can export our exciting innovations abroad, helping to boost the economy and support business.
